Here are a few of the most common tours: North Island Tour – Castries, Morne Fortune – The site where many battles were fought, Renovated Military Barracks, St. Lucia’s Educational Complex, Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, Pigeon Island and Cap Estate. Tour duration approximately 2hrs. Sightseeing & Shopping Tour – Castries Central Market and Vendor Arcade, Columbus Square, Victory Monument, Government House, Morne Fortune, Caribelle Batik and Eudovic’s Arts & Craft Studio. See the Banana Plantations in Roseau Valley. Stop in Marigot Bay the site of many well known movies such as” Dr. Doolittle” and “Firepower”. Don’t forget your passport and airline ticket for duty-free purchases. Tour duration approximately 2 1/2 – 3 hrs. Rhythm of Rum Distillery Tour - Visit the Capital of Castries, and the Banana Plantations in Roseau Valley. Stop at the distillery for an educational journey through the history of Rum. Witness the distillation process and then have a chance to sample some of the rums and liqueurs made on site. After the rum tour we’ll drive to Marigot Bay, the sight of many famous films. Tour duration approximately 3hrs. Island Tour - The island tour has a wealth of sightseeing and shopping opportunities. In the capital of Castries, you will see the remnants of French and European influences of the colonial times and other historical sites. Travel through Dereck Walcott Square and see a monument to St. Lucia's War dead. Adjacent to Dereck Walcott Square there is a large Samaan Tree, commonly known as the "Massav" tree which is over 400 years old. On the eastern end of Walcott Square see the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. We will then travel to Morne Fortune (formerly called Le Carenage) and stop at Victory Monument where you will have spectacular views of the city and the northern portion of the island. Once on board we will continue southward past the 19th Century Governor's House, stop in Marigot Bay (site where the original 1966 "Dr. Doolittle" movie was filmed), travel to Anse La Raye to see the banana plantations in Roseau Valley, and two other coastal fishing villages in Canaries and Soufriere. Along the way the tour travels through a portion of the rainforest. In Canaries, we will stop at Plaz Kassav to witness the making of traditional cassava bread and have a taste too. From here the next stop will be at a local craft market where you will see Soufriere and the Majestic Pitons in the distance. We will then board the vehicle and continue onward to the old French capital of Soufriere (2nd largest town) and here you will see the World Heritage Site....the Pitons -Gros and Petit up close. Next, a visit at the Sulphur Springs, the world’s only drive-in volcano and also Toraille Waterfalls/Botanical Gardens to experience the beauty of the local flora and fauna. Revitalize your skin at the base of the spectacular waterfalls and mineral baths. Truly breathtaking! And then if you desire, you can dine at a local restaurant or relax on the beach (Reduit or Jalouise) for as long as you like! The duration of the tour is 4.0 to 6 hours. YOU determine the length of your tour! The tour includes all entrance fees to the Drive-In Volcano, the Toraille Waterfall/Botanical Gardens, samples of Local Snacks (Hot Bread, Cassava Bread, Island Coconut Cakes/Cookies, Sweet Ripe Bananas, Banana Ketchup and Unlimited Beverages including local Piton Beer, delicious Rum Punch, Soda and Water. Then travel on to Rodney Bay (Reduit Beach), Pigeon Island (Beach), and Cap Estates (Smugglers Cove Beach) for the final stop. Friday Night Fish Fry in Anse La Raye – Enjoy a night on the town. Join us for snapper, lobster or the catch of the day, good music and lots excitement in the fishing village. Saturday Night Fish Fry Dennery - Another chance to enjoy the catch of the day. Fish is prepared for all to feast upon on the beach. All the fish you can eat at your fingertips. Street Party Gros Islet - Gros Islet comes alive late Friday night. Enjoy the Caribbean rhythms, great foods – fish, chicken cooked in different sauces, “lambi “or conch kebabs and bakes which are fried breads resembling a doughnut without the hole. Rain Forest Walk - Transportation to the entrance of the rainforest to meet a guide from the Forestry Department who will lead the walk through the natural habitat of the St. Lucia Parrot, the Amazona Versicolor. Rain Forest Sky Rides - Glide through the rainforest in Chassin, Babonneau in open trams to enjoy nature's beautiful landscape. Rainforest Canopy Adventure Tour - Zip Line located in Dennery. Zip through the forest from one platform to the next on 500 ft runs of suspended cable, 30 to 50 ft above the forest floor.
